My second home.

I’m in the best shape of my adult life, lifting more than I thought I ever could and frequently skipping, running (although slowly!), rowing and cycling at the gym all without judgement.

Fortitude is my second home. If I’m not at work, I’m there. I realise that’s a weird thing to say about a gym; even weirder to think that 6 months ago the thought of being inside a gym terrified me.

Josh and Tina are both brilliant trainers who have learned the art of helping you reach your potential without scaring you away. Their coaching feels thorough and despite the fact that they are training in a class environment they also seek to ensure that we are individually comfortable and at ease at all times.

I started training at Fortitude as I found cardio workouts uncomfortable and difficult and I’d always fantasized about being powerful enough to lift free-weights. I’m in the best shape of my adult life, lifting more than I thought I ever could and frequently skipping, running (although slowly!), rowing and cycling at the gym all without judgement.

I have more energy, I’m sleeping better and I’m happier. My mental health and self-esteem have improved tenfold and I can only put this down to feeling healthier holistically.

I have never been anywhere so social or supportive. Improving my social life as been another fantastic by-product of forcing myself to get to the gym. I’m just glad I picked the right one.

All there is left to say is a huge thank you to Josh and Tina as well the crew down at Fortitude for keeping me going, you’re the best.
